Upper north subdivision, Skidegate, Haida Gwaii, Canada, the Ernie Gladstone Residence.
In 1997/1998, we constructed "Skidegate House" as a residence for Ernie Gladstone, in Skidegate. The logs were selected as standing trees in the mountains west of Skidegate, in February, 1997, and preparation began in the summer. The home is now a comfortable shelter from the winds and rain of Haida Gwaii.
